Our Story:
In 2004, The original Lily retired and passed the business on to a former employee. Lily's Garden then moved from the Kerrytown Building to a new home in The Shops at Market Place, just down the block. After 6 years in our lovely spot, we relocated again. We are now next to Zingerman's Next Door! Always family owned and operated, Lily's Garden continues the tradition of a creative and fun Ann Arbor flower shop, houseplant, and floral event resource.
Serving individuals and businesses alike, we are just minutes away from the University of Michigan campus, as well as all area hospitals including, UofM, Mott Children’s Hospital, St Joseph Mercy and Veteran’s. Daily deliveries are also made to Muehlig, Nie, Stark and Janowiak Funeral Homes. Lily’s Garden is family owned and operated and we take pride in every order that goes out the door. All arrangements and flowers are 100% guaranteed for freshness and quality.

A local delivery fee of $15.00 in Ann Arbor plus an additinal fee to Ypsilanti, Dexter and Saline will be added to each order, for each address. There may be an additinal fee added for certain holidays.Same-Day delivery may not always be available. Local delivery orders must be received before 10am, Monday through Friday, and 9am Saturday in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery when available. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day or may require a special delivery charge to be taken out the same day if there is a driver available.We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of the day, but we cannot guarantee it without a special delivery charge as our driver will have to re-route all our daily deliveries.
Please include a contact phone number where we can reach you on the day of delivery. Should questions arise, we may need to contact you before delivery can be completed.
Please also include the recipient's phone number in ADDITION to your own. We are not able to gurantee successful delivery without a working contact phone number for both the recipient and the sender of flowers.
No orders of fresh flowers or any other gift will be left at recipient's address without a signature unless we are specifically instructed to and weather conditions permit. We cannot leave flowers during inclement weather and in temperatures below 55 degrees or above 75 degrees due to their perishable nature.
We will be happy to accept your incoming international orders for delivery in Ann Arbor. Please make sure to include a working email address as we will need this to contact you if any issues arise.
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. If a certain flower is unavailable, we will make every attempt to contact you and let you know what options are available.

In our store, customers have freedom to select and try different combinations and colors of fresh flowers which we arrange and deliver if needed. Chocolates, balloons or stuffed animals are available creating an even bigger smile as they open the door.In addition to our extensive everyday floral services, Lily’s Garden specializes in floral creation for weddings and events, and funerals in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area. Lily’s Garden delivers to Ann Arbor, Saline, and most of Ypsilanti Monday through Saturday. We also deliver to certain areas in Dexter, time permitting.
In July 2011 we moved into our new space at 414 Detroit Street. Being right next door to Zingerman's is only one of the many benefits of our new location. For instance, you may have met our shop dogs who can now spend their days hamming it up and shamelessly asking for attention. Wybie and Herman are both rescues and are now our official greeters.
